Measuring Instrument Overview

What is a Vision Measuring Machine?

  • A non-contact measurement system that utilizes image processing technology to detect object edges and perform precise dimensional measurements.
  • Measurements within the field of view are instantaneous. Objects larger than a single screen can be measured seamlessly by incorporating the movement information of the measurement stage.
  • Height measurement is also possible with the autofocus function.
  • There are automatic machines for automated measurements and manual machines for manual stage movement.

    ・Confirm the measurement accuracy by substituting the measurement length into the formula described in
     the catalog.
       i.e.: Measurement accuracy Euxy,mpe =(2.0+4L/1000)μm  L=Measurement length (mm)
              When the desired length is 200 mm...
                    →Measurement error = (2.0+4×200/1000)=2.8 μm
     ・Note: Measurement accuracy of 1/5 or less of the required tolerance is desirable.
