Environment-Resistant Projector for Reliable Use in Challenging Conditions

The intuitive design of projectors can sometimes lead to variations in measurement points between users.

In environments with oil mist and dust, the screen may become unclear, exacerbating these inconsistencies. Even after cleaning, internal dust buildup cannot be fully removed, resulting in persistent visibility issues.

The PJ-PLUS addresses these challenges by utilizing LED lighting that prevents heat buildup. Without a cooling fan—commonly a pathway for oil mist and dust—this projector significantly reduces dirt accumulation on the internal optical system.

Compared to conventional projectors, the PJ-PLUS achieves approximately 50% better illumination retention (see figure below). It maintains clear visibility even in demanding worksite environments, effectively minimizing individual errors.

The Key to Vision is Illumination

The lighting on your projector offers only two levels—strong and weak—making it challenging to achieve the "just right" illumination. This limitation often leads to reduced visibility of edges, negatively impacting measurement efficiency.

The PJ-PLUS comes standard with the "Stepless Volume Dimmer" function, a feature typically found in higher-end models. This allows fine-tuning of illumination, enabling adjustments like "a little stronger" or "a little weaker," significantly improving operability and measurement efficiency.

Freedom from Manual Entry: The First Step Toward Centralized Data Management

Manually taking measurements and filling out test sheets is not only prone to errors but also requires additional effort to input the data into a computer. Writing test sheets by hand is both time-consuming and frustrating.

The PJ-PLUS addresses this challenge with a standard RS-232C port for data output. Free software is included, allowing seamless transfer of measurement results directly to a personal computer.

Streamline your workflow by transferring measurement results electronically—it’s an easy way to save time and reduce manual effort.

Furthermore, you can gradually integrate measurement data from other tools, such as calipers and micrometers. By centrally managing this data, a preventive maintenance system can be established, enabling corrective actions to be taken proactively before defects occur.
